OUR SERVICE
Even electric bikes as sturdy as an Urbe require service from time to time. And no one is better prepared to provide that service than the Authorized Dealer who sold you your Urbe. But if that’s not a good option for you, contact us and we will be sure to take care of you.
OUR WARRANTY
Urbe provides you with a limited warranty that covers against manufacturing defects in the materials, or workmanship. The warranty applies only to the original owner, and is not transferable. And only Urbe electric bikes purchased from an Authorized Urbe Dealer are warranted.
The Urbe limited warranty applies to the rechargeable battery, the frame, and the components, including the frame fixtures and suspension parts.
For the battery, the warranty is for a period of one year from the date of purchase. For the frame, the warranty is for a period of two years from the date of purchase. And for the components, the warranty is for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
This limited warranty does not, however, apply to normal wear and tear. Nor does the limited warranty apply to malfunctions, defects or failures of an Urbe bike that has been subjected to neglect, abuse, accidents, or improper use, repair, alteration or maintenance.
Should the original owner require service under the warranty, the Urbe electric bike, the warranty card, and the bill of sale must all be delivered to an Urbe Authorized Dealer. Urbe will repair or replace parts found to be defective and covered by the limited warranty. The warranty, however, does not include the costs of labor services, or freight. Those charges are the responsibility of the owner.
THIS IS THE SOLE REMEDY UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. ALL OTHER REMEDIES AND DAMAGES ARE EXCLUDED. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply. URBE IN NO EVENT SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECT, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THESE INCLUDE, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR ECONOMIC LOSSES, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, WARRANTY NEGLIGENCE, PRODUCT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY.
